Category & Material: Sculpture, Metal Date: 4/2006 Size: 13 x 7 x 9 in Description: This little guy is quite heavy for his small size, weighing in at 15-20 lbs. The skeleton was put together with a MIG welder; everything else was done with oxyacetalyne welding. I forged the trunk from a piece of rebar, using an oxyacetalyne rosebud torch, a hammer, and an anvil. Altogether, this piece required over 50 pieces of welding rod. Keywords: animal
