This past month I delved into two media that I've been somewhat neglecting recently: papercutting and oil pastels. Read below for more.
Guerilla Papercuts I coined a term last month: guerilla papercut. See if you can guess why! Last month, I made four of these, incorporating the recipients' names and other precious information into the designs, and then cutting them with a super-sharp exacto knife. Here are links to the pictures:

Want your own customized papercut? Just email me! Oil Pastel Drawings Even though I've used oil pastels to great success in the past, I somehow left my two sets of colors to lie fallow for quite a while now. This month I took them out and dusted them off, inspired initially by the photography of Mary Schwalm. My favorite of the month was the elephant, who poses on the right. There were quite a few others as well.
